A journey through the city. This is an artwork you can keep returning to, finding new delights each time. It has the frentic energy typical of one of the city's star attractions: the night markets. In fact, it has been suggested that the whole artwork should be 'accessed' via the RaoHe night market gate in the lower left hand corner, as though the whole city has been converted into one vast market.
Like the artwork, the city itself feels playful and laid back. It is very much unlike the city one might imagine based on international headlines. The now famous Economist front page which described the island as the 'most dangerous place on earth' certainly didn't ring true from the bubble-tea sipping street level, even if different geopolitical realities may hover in the skies above and seas around the island.
